The Roman Catholic Church of the Martyrdom of Saint John the Baptist stands on Námestie slobody and its tower forms a characteristic part of Sabinov’s skyline.
The church was built in the 13th century in the Gothic style and later received Renaissance and Baroque additions. It remains a living centre of spiritual life in the town.
